Gymshark has been on fire so far in 2025. The apparel juggernaut didn’t just break the internet — it obliterated it with the Onyx drop.
Flagship store launches in Manchester and Amsterdam followed soon after, along with fresh collections and, of course, the iconic Gymshark sale.
And it seems the brand has no plans to ease off the gas anytime soon. Announced just yesterday, a new Gymshark Varsity collection is on the horizon — and it looks like it was pulled straight from a pep rally.

What Is Gymshark Varsity?
Gymshark Varsity isn’t a completely new concept, though earlier iterations had more of a graffiti-inspired, streetwear feel.
This time around, though, it’s full-on All-American nostalgia. Much like Ice Cube did with Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill in 22 Jump Street, Gymshark is sending us straight back to campus.
Think bold varsity prints, preppy colourways, Letterman jacket vibes, and contrast detailing for the ultimate vintage aesthetic.
In fact, it’s not too far removed from the refreshed Gymshark Lifting Club collection that landed back in late May.
Gymshark has leaned hard into the high school reminiscence. The teaser shoot took place entirely in a classroom, with athletes dressed as jocks and cheerleaders.
It’s pure retro collegiate — right down to a mock cafeteria menu listing chicken, broccoli and rice for every day of the week.
They even put together a gym-themed periodic table, packed with supplements and winks to classic lifting memes.
This capsule is being billed as the “Class of 66” — a clever nod to the Gymshark66 challenge, which motivates the brand’s global community to build consistent, healthy habits for 66 days each year.
Make no mistake: Gymshark Varsity is straight out of an ’80s teen movie. It’s a John Hughes daydream — and we’re 100% here for it.
What’s Included in the Drop?
Just like the Lifting Club launch, Gymshark released a Pinterest link teasing some of the new pieces.
Gymshark Varsity is a unisex range and features everything from stitched jackets and oversized hoodies for the perfect pump cover to women’s deep V-neck tanks.

When Is Gymshark Varsity Dropping?
It’s a fast turnaround. Announced only yesterday, Gymshark Varsity officially drops on 10 July at 7pm BST.
Expect this one to fly — gym floors are about to be taken over by full-blown homecoming spirit.
