Few brands have stamped their footprint on the fitness industry quite like JD. Following years of dominating the world of streetwear and sports fashion, it raised the bar with the introduction of JD Gyms.
Funded entirely by the head honchos, an average of £1.5m went into developing each site.
Slowly but surely, JD unveiled just shy of 100 facilities, with that figure set to top a tonne once gyms in Basildon, Bournemouth, Cwmbran, Ipswich, Reading, Southampton, Swansea, and Wakefield open their doors.
Each gym offers members a premium training experience at an affordable price. For as little as £19.99 per month, fitness enthusiasts across the UK can enjoy a range of state-of-the-art facilities in the cutting-edge, modern urban settings we’ve come to associate with the brand’s image.
Additional features such as statement lighting and luxurious changing rooms with saunas solidify JD Gym‘s position as a major player in the nation’s fitness scene.
But for some folks, fancy lighting and quirky neon signs don’t mean a thing if you can’t hit the gym 24/7. If that’s the case, I’ve got good and bad news for you.
Most JD Gyms keep their doors wide open 24/7, seven days a week, including major sites in Birmingham, Leeds, Sunderland, Bristol, and Nottingham.
Yet, there’s a handful that takes a breather overnight. For instance, the facility in Manchester City Centre is up and running from 6 am to 10 pm on weekdays and 8 am to 8 pm on weekends.
If you’re a night owl after round-the-clock training, you can easily check the opening times of your local JD Gym using the handy online tracker tool.
