We have seen it before and the issue continues of people in the gym taking photos of celebrities, influencers or even people they don’t know. The gym should be a safe place for everyone to go, wear what they want and to be able to focus on them for that short period of time during their busy days. To see someone taking a photo of you, recording or even seeing it posted to social media is majorly off putting, creepy and likely illegal.
Love Island’s Amber Gill was left in tears after a gym creep shared her photo’s to social media and privately to his friends. During a live Q&A which Amber often does during her workout sets she was suddenly shocked to see someone replying jokingly that her photo’s had been shared:
With 2.5million followers on her Instagram, Amber Gill is always likely going to have met fans, been papped or had photo’s snidely taken of her but in this situation it made her feel super uncomfortable to the point of crying and even leaving the gym. A fan or at least someone who recognised her started to share her images from her local Dubai gym, Gymnation.
Amber replied to this messaged with “I dunno why you’re putting laughing faces that’s super super embarrassing. I would be highly embarrassed to be friends with such a loser” and went on to say “This is actually severe bad vibes. So whoever is doing that stop you f**king creep. And now I will have to change gyms. F**king weirdos,”.
Shortly after this Amber said she was so upset that she shed a tear and eventually left the gym feeling scared and anxious.
Please respect people privacy in the gym and NEVER share anything publicly.
