Mike Tyson And Jake Paul Fight Still On After Tyson’s Medical Emergency

Mike Tyson’s hotly anticipated fight with Jake Paul is still set to go ahead despite Tyson’s recent medical emergency. The boxing legend became unwell with symptoms of an ulcer flare-up during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles, complaining of feeling nauseous and dizzy.

The incident happened about 30 minutes before landing, with the cabin crew asking if there were any doctors on board who could help. When they landed there were paramedics ready and waiting to take care of the former world heavyweight champion. His representatives have since told the New York Post that, ‘“thankfully Mr Tyson is doing great”.

Despite their reassurance though, rumors have been flying that the incident might mean the fight with Jake Paul won’t go ahead. But Paul has taken to X to confirm that, as far as he’s concerned at least, nothing has changed and the fight is still on.

He wrote, “You love to make shit up before knowing the facts for clicks/likes. Nothing changed #PaulTyson”.

And a few hours later he shared a post from Most Valuable Promotions that read, “KSI and Dilon Danis are very similar people. They both posted a 2 year old picture of Mike Tyson to mislead their audience referring to Tyson’s health. Mike Tyson is feeling great after an ulcer flare up on a cross country flight.”

So it looks like Tyson’s health scare might have shaken things up a bit, but it’s still full steam ahead for the fight, scheduled to take place at the AT&T stadium in Arlington, Texas on July 20.
