Misfits Boxing has dropped its biggest hint yet that a mega fight between KSI and Tommy Fury has finally been made.
The promotion posted a four-pronged banner on Twitter revealing the hotly-anticipated 009 PRIME card will take place later this year on October 14.
But the banner did much more than confirm the date, it also contained four huge easter eggs that fans quickly deciphered.
Each leg of the MF & DAZN: X Series logo represented fighters who will be slogging it out in the main and co-main events.
The first two featured KSI’s infamous bandana and Fury’s name written in fire.
Given the pair have been in near-constant negotiations since the latter bested Jake Paul by a split decision, it was only a matter of time before the ink dried on an official contract.
The second two legs of the logo, however, came as much more of a surprise – and a welcomed one at that. A Maverick feather and Jaguar pattern seem to suggest that Logan Paul will be going toe-to-toe with Dillon Danis in the co-main event.
Danis, who is a mixed martial artist by trade, was due to take on KSI earlier this year but pulled out at late notice.
In fact, despite his near-constant trolling online, the 29-year-old hasn’t fought since June 2019 at Bellator 222.
Logan Paul has also endured a lengthy stint on the sidelines, having last boxed Floyd Mayweather in an unscored exhibition bout in 2021.
The YouTube star has, however, made a name for himself in the WWE since, starring in several shows while successfully scaling PRIME with former foe-turned-business-partner KSI.
If the rumours are true, which evidence suggests they are, fans can expect the biggest night of crossover boxing since it started all those years ago between KSI and Joe Weller.
Whoever wins between KSI and Fury will claim the YouTube boxing crown and set up another mammoth tie with Jake Paul, while also registering the first loss on their opponent’s so far perfect record.
Meanwhile, Logan Paul returning to the ring after a two-year hiatus against a fighter who has a lot of talk to back up is enough to get any boxing fan salivating.
