‘Full Circle Moment’: Neutonic Cans Launch in Over 40 Fitness First Gyms

Neutonic Cans Roll Into 40+ Fitness First Gyms Nationwide

Before finding success as an online fitness guru and general voice of reason, James Smith was working the beat as a personal trainer on gym floors.

Fitness First was his employer on two occasions, both in the UK and Australia, where he later moved in pursuit of a more fruitful life on sunnier shores.

But his real break came after quitting the popular gym chain, picking up a camera, and starting his journey as a content creator, online coach, and entrepreneur.

In what is a poetic full-circle moment, Smith’s top-rated Neutonic cans have just launched across more than 40 Fitness First gyms here in the UK.

The listing marks a fitting return to where it all began, and another major checkpoint in Neutonic’s ascent within the nascent focus category.

“Full circle moment,” the brand wrote in an announcement.

“James Smith used to work at Fitness First UK. Now Neutonic is in the fridge.

“Another meaningful retail milestone for Neutonic. We’ve recently launched in Fitness First, now available across 40+ gyms nationwide, bringing our productivity drink into training environments where focus, consistency, and performance are non-negotiable.”

Smith launched the Neutonic cans alongside Chris Williamson, Shan Hanif, and Luke Betts in late 2023.

Dubbed the ‘world’s first productivity drink’ at the time, it debuted with an evidence-based nootropics formula that’s one of the strongest — if not the strongest — on the market.

It’s so potent, in fact, that its dosages are one of the reasons it has yet to launch in certain markets around the globe.

Designed to unlock instant focus and mental clarity, the sugar-free blend features a premium mix of Cognizin® (500mg), Rhodiola Rosea (400mg), L-Theanine (400mg), and Panax Ginseng (200mg), alongside 120mg of natural caffeine and 100% RI of eight B vitamins.

“Gyms aren’t just about physical output,” the post continued. “They’re about routine, discipline, and showing up day after day with the right mindset.

“That’s exactly where Neutonic fits in, supporting mental focus alongside physical training, whether it’s an early morning session, a lunchtime workout, or an evening lift after a long day.

“This rollout is about accessibility. Making smarter performance fuel available in the places people are already pushing themselves, both mentally and physically.

“Proud of the teams involved in making this happen and excited to keep expanding Neutonic into spaces built around progress and performance.”

Three flavours of the Neutonic cans will be available to Fitness First members in chillers: Tropical Ice, Orange Sunrise, and Blue Raspberry.

The same trio can also be found in Everlast Gyms. Neutonic formally announced that partnership this week, despite the drinks quietly filling fridges across the aspirational gym group’s estate since late 2025.

Alternatively, Neutonic cans can be purchased via Ocado, the brand’s website, TikTok Shop, or multiple retailers dotted around the country.

Smith and co. have hinted that more retail announcements are on the way, so expect the Neutonic takeover to continue gathering pace in the near future.

For those avoiding stimulants, the brand’s range also includes caffeine-free Focus sachets and Brain Capsules — the latter featuring an added 300mg of Bacopa Monnieri — plus creatine sachets in three flavours.
