Caeleb Dressel, a standout swimmer for Team USA, added three more Olympic medals to his impressive collection. He won gold in both the 4x100m freestyle and the 4x100m mixed medley relays, showcasing his incredible speed and teamwork. Additionally, Dressel earned a silver medal in the 4x100m men’s medley relay, narrowly missing first place by just 0.55 seconds.

Career Highlights
With his father and siblings already swimmers, Caeleb started learning to swim at age four. In 2012, he broke a record and went on for the Olympics trials, where he was the youngest male swimmer but did not qualify.
At the FINA World Swimming Junior Championships a year later, he won six medals, broke the Championship record and National Age Group Record for the 17–18 year olds 100 meter freestyle. He broke the existing record and set a new one with his time of 18.94 at the Speedo Winter Junior National Championships that same year.
He joined the University of Florida’s swimming team in 2015 and won the NCAA title in his first year. Caeleb became the first athlete to win a medal from the University’s sports teams when he won two gold medals at the following year’s Olympics.
The swimmer from Florida has gone on to win eight more Olympic medals and sixteen NCAA medals. He holds several world and national records and is currently the Guinness world record holder for the Most FINA world records held by an individual.
Life Outside Swimming
At twenty-seven, Caeleb is husband to a swimmer like himself, Meghan, and they have a son together. He has a number of sponsorship deals, one of which is Toyota, and owns a YouTube channel.
