Nic Fink Background
Nic’s hometown is Morristown, New Jersey, U.S. but he was born on July 3rd, 1993 in Houston, Texas, into the family of Peter and Danielle Fink. Nic became passionate about swimming when he was a child after seeing the sport on television often. Today, he’s currently ranked among the world’s top breaststrokers.
He studied at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he earned a master’s degree in computer and electrical engineering. His career has taken off since then.
Nik Fink Career
Fink was an exceptional performer in college. In the 2014 and 2015 NCAA Championships, he finished second nationally in the 100-yard breaststroke. He was selected for the U.S. National Team for the 2014–2015 season as a result of his outstanding university play.
A further benefit to his swimming career was his remarkable height of 1.90 m (6 ft 3 in). In the World Championship games, he has won multiple gold medals in addition to his silver medal in the 100-meter breaststroke in the 2024 Summer Olympics.
The 31-year-old superstar, who is currently employed by Quanta Utility Engineering Services, is not only a gifted swimmer but also a skilled full-time engineer. He works remotely and clocks in from his home in Dallas.
Wife and Family
Nic is also happily married with a baby on the way. He and his partner Melanie Margalis Fink, a former Olympian swimmer, are expecting their first child together in September.
