Mixing up your matcha just got a whole lot easier thanks to PerfectTed’s new matcha concentrate.
PerfectTed has added another product to its growing range of matcha powders and drinks, and this could be one of its best launches yet.
After four long years of work with a team of engineers and scientists, co-founders Teddie and Levi Levenfiche have managed to create a shelf-stable, ceremonial grade matcha concentrate.
PerfectTed Matcha Concentrate
The new PerfectTed Matcha Concentrate has been made to take the effort out of preparing matcha at home.
Instead of measuring out powder, adding water, and whisking everything together, you can just pour the concentrate into milk or water.
To make a matcha latte, for example, all you have to do is add 20ml, or four teaspoons, of the concentrate to 200ml of your preferred milk.
That’s it.
And the beauty of it is that you can use it to make both hot and cold drinks.
Each 240ml bottle of matcha concentrate makes up to 12 servings.
And each prepared 220ml serving comes in at 105 calories, 3.7g of fat, 7.5g of protein, and 10.5g of carbohydrates, although this will vary depending on the milk you use.

PerfectTed Matcha Concentrate flavours
The new matcha concentrate comes in Original and Vanilla flavours.
Now, PerfectTed is already known for having a fun mix of flavours across its matcha range.
Take the Matcha Energy drinks, for example, which come in Juicy Peach, Lemon Lime, Very Cherry, and Strawberry.
So starting the concentrate range with one classic option and one flavoured version absolutely makes sense for the brand.
Original gives you the familiar taste of matcha, while Vanilla adds a sweeter option that’ll work really well in a creamy latte.
Exclusive to Tesco
The new PerfectTed Matcha Concentrates are being sold exclusively at Tesco.
Each 240ml bottle costs £6.50, or £5.85 with a Tesco Clubcard until 11th August. So don’t wait around to try it if you want to grab it for that cheaper price!
Whether you’re completely new to the world of matcha and have been looking for an easy way in, or you’re already a big fan looking to simplify your matcha making routine, this new matcha concentrate is set to make things a whole lot quicker and easier.
So head to your local Tesco to give it a try!
