Dallas United have announced KSI and Logan Paul’s PRIME as their official hydration partner ahead of TST 2023.
The American outfit, which was formed as part of a unique collaboration between popular Fifa streamer Castro and the Dallas Soccer Alliance, will battle it out for a top prize of $1m at the world championship of 7-aside soccer next month.
Their squad will be comprised of some of the top athletes from the Dallas Soccer Alliance League as well as other elite players from the city and beyond.
However, they’ll face stiff competition, with sides representing some of the world’s biggest clubs, including West Ham, Wolves and Borussia Dortmund also in the mix in North Carolina.
Much like Castro, PRIME’s co-founder, KSI, first shot to fame by uploading videos to YouTube playing Fifa with his brother, Deji.
He knows Castro well, having shared a pitch with him both virtually and in real life during the Sidemen’s yearly charity match.
KSI also donated $10,000 when Castro embarked on a 50-hour Twitch stream to raise money to support children battling cancer – a disease his mother fought and won.
That relationship undoubtedly played a part in securing a deal between PRIME and Dallas United, who will take on Culture By Mo Ali FC in their first game of the tournament on June 1.
