There were chaotic scenes in Aldi stores up and down the country as shoppers fought amongst each other to get their hands on PRIME Hydration.
Queues formed outside the supermarket chain after it was announced it would be selling KSI and Logan Paul’s popular product for a bargain price.
Videos posted to social media showed adults wrestling with teenagers for the last few bottles as it sold out just minutes after shoppers were allowed to enter stores.
Since its launch in early 2022, the viral drink has caused hysteria among fans of the YouTubers, some of whom have travelled hours and paid extortionate fees for bottles.
Convenience stores have been reselling PRIME for £20, while bottles have also been seen listed on eBay for as much as £50.
However, Aldi announced on December 28 it would be stocking PRIME as a ‘special buy’ item for the lowly price of £1.99, starting from December 29.

In a tweet, the German discount store said: “THIS IS NOT A DRILL. @PrimeHydrate will be in stores from tomorrow! You’ll be able to grab one of each flavour while stocks last! @KSI meet you there?”
The tweet sparked wild scenes at supermarkets, with the pandemonium making national headlines. The response was a predictable one, however.
After recently launching in Icelandic supermarkets all stock was sold out within a day. A Twitter account has even been set up with its own app called ‘Prime Tracker UK’, which tracks stock levels and keeps people informed on where the drink is available – it currently has over 14,000 followers.
