For Grace Beverley – or GraceFitUk as you may know her – innovating just seems to come naturally.
One of YouTube’s greats, the University of Oxford graduate has gone from creating fitness content to being named on Forbes 30 Under 30 list and scaling several successful business ventures.
Tala x Fila
Now, in what is yet another incredible step in her perpetually-progressive career, she has launched a collaboration with one of the biggest global sportswear brands.
Her retro-inspired fitness apparel company TALA has teamed up with FILA to create a range of sustainable activewear – and it’s serving some serious looks.
She said: “We have always challenged the rules, so our first-ever collaboration was going to be big!
“Being asked to work alongside a global brand like FILA is a huge milestone for us – it helps us prove there is space for brands that go against the grain, share, and strive for collective change.”
FILA x TALA brings you an unrivaled capsule of limited edition fits, complete with major firsts.
The announcement represents the first time in FILA’s history that their iconic Interaction trainer has been remade with 100% recycled materials, and TALA’s first-ever trainer, using 90% less water and 80% lower carbon footprint than traditional leather.
Also included in the seminal drop, which launched on November 9, are leggings, bra tops, a track jacket, and sweatshirts, as well as T-shirts, cycling shorts, and joggers, all made from factory offcuts and recycled plastic bottles.
She added: “Existing in the fashion industry, we recognize we are both parts of the problem and the solution. Locating authenticity & navigating sustainability in the fashion industry is challenging on so many levels.
“We are operating under no illusions; we know there are complexities and multiple barriers to living more sustainable lifestyles and accessing sustainable products, and one collection isn’t going to change that. But finding better products you love and that you can trust shouldn’t be so difficult.
“And we believe in our mission: to provide solutions if you do choose to shop.”
