Taste Testing fu:di’s Keto Friendly Granola

We got our hands on fu:di’s keto friendly granola and gave it a full taste test.

I’m a bit obsessed with granola.

As in, I could eat it every single morning and still look forward to it the next day.

What I’m not quite so keen on, though, is how carb-heavy most granolas are.

So when I spotted fu:di’s grain free, keto friendly granola, I knew I had to put it to the test.

I picked up the Breakfast Bundle so I could try all four flavours, and you can use our fu:di discount code GYMFLUENCERS15 to save 15% if you fancy doing the same.

fu:di’s grain free, keto friendly granola

fu:di has swapped the oats and grains you’d usually find in granola for a mix of nuts and seeds, including almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, linseed, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds.

The exact mix changes slightly between flavours, but the granola is finished with almond butter and slowly baked to give you those crunchy clusters you want from a good granola.

It’s low in carbs, with less than 2.4g of net carbs per serving, and contains no added sugar or seed oils. It’s also high in fibre, a source of protein, and completely vegan.

So you can see straight away how different it is from your usual grain-based granola!

There are four flavours to choose from: Original, Cinnamon, Cocoa, and Spiced Biscuit. And I taste-tested them all to see if a keto friendly granola could taste as good as my usual picks.

Original has a simple, nutty flavour that works with pretty much anything, while Cinnamon is warmer and a little sweeter.

Cocoa comes with cacao nibs, cacao powder, and dark chocolate chips, giving it a lovely, rich chocolate flavour.

Then there’s Spiced Biscuit, which has that warm, sweetly spiced flavour that makes it very hard to stop at one bowl.

The Breakfast Bundle

I went for the Breakfast Bundle, which gives you one pack of each flavour of the keto friendly granola.

It’s a great way to try the whole range before committing to a favourite, especially when all four flavours bring something slightly different.

You save some money by buying them together too. Four individual packs would usually cost £32, while the bundle costs £26.95.

My only problem is that the bundle hasn’t actually helped me decide which flavour I like best.

I keep going back and forth between Cocoa and Spiced Biscuit.

The Cocoa granola has a lovely chocolate flavour and little bits of crunch from the cacao nibs and dark chocolate chips.

But Spiced Biscuit has that cosy, lightly spiced taste that works so well with thick Greek yoghurt.

At this point, I think the only sensible answer is to keep buying both.

The taste test

I’ve tried fu:di’s keto friendly granola with milk and with Greek yoghurt for a protein-packed breakfast, and it’s great both ways.

Milk lets the flavour of the granola come through and softens the clusters slightly which I quite like.

With Greek yoghurt, it feels a bit more filling, and I love the mix of the thick, creamy yoghurt with the crunchy nuts and seeds.

You could easily add some berries on top too, but it honestly doesn’t need anything more added to it.

And while it works brilliantly as a proper breakfast, I’ve probably eaten just as much of it straight from the pack.

Every time I walk into the kitchen, I end up grabbing another handful.

The clusters are crunchy, the nuts and seeds make it really satisfying, and the flavours are sweet enough without becoming sickly.

Final thoughts

fu:di’s keto friendly granola is a great option when you want the crunch and sweetness of granola without the usual oats, grains, and high carb content.

The Breakfast Bundle is definitely the way I’d recommend trying it, because you get all four flavours for less than buying them separately.

Original and Cinnamon are both really nice, but Cocoa and Spiced Biscuit are the two I’d immediately order again. I’m still not choosing between them though!

Head to the fu:di website to grab the Breakfast Bundle, or a pack of the flavour that floats your boat the most, and remember to use our fu:di discount code GYMFLUENCERS15 at the online checkout to save 15% on your order.
