Your Heights, the popular supplement brand known for its commitment to ethical values and social responsibility as well as their great-quality products, has made a decisive move to cut ties with Russell Brand following the recent allegations made against him.
A string of serious claims have been made against Brand by several women and they’re clearly being taken seriously by companies like Your Heights who have often featured the comedian in their ads and other promotional content.
In the days since the allegations were first made public Brand’s been dropped by his agency Tavistock Wood Management and his book publisher. The BBC have also pulled all his content from iPlayer and his YouTube channel has been demonetised.
Your Heights confirmed that they’re no longer working with Brand in replies to a few comments on Insta, stating “we are a community-first business, and share with our customers the concern at the allegations made against Russell Brand. We always seek to work with genuine brand fans, and as a huge health enthusiast, we felt it was a great fit. That being said, we decided to terminate our agreement 2 months ago and we are no longer working with Russell Brand, and will continue to seek out health enthusiasts with audiences who can help us achieve our mission: investing in scientific research to bring the best possible health solutions to our customers.”
With their focus on wellness as well as a clear sense of social responsibility, it’s no surprise that Your Heights have made this choice to cut ties with Brand and are now looking to the future to find more fitting celebrities to help promote their products.
