Barebells Peanut Butter & Jelly Protein Bar Launches With Brand-First Fruity Filling

Barebells Peanut Butter & Jelly Hits Shelves on New Year’s Day

Just hours after fireworks illuminated the sky to ring in the New Year, Barebells dropped a new flavor of its top-rated protein bar that we expect to dominate 2026.

The Swedish powerhouse added 12 new varieties to its snack range in 2025, including fruity and festive innovations like Lemon Cheesecake, Raspberry Cream, Peppermint Bark, and two types of Pumpkin Spice.

But it was Peanut Butter — another fresh entry — that stole American hearts, ending the year as the most popular flavor of the lot.

Its short reign at the top of the charts is now likely to come to an end, courtesy of Barebells’ latest release: Peanut Butter & Jelly.

“The next best thing since sliced bread is here,” the brand wrote in an announcement.

“Introducing, Barebells Peanut Butter & Jelly. Your childhood favorite is all grown up and now with 20 grams of protein.”

The time-tested, all-American classic delivers a heavy hit of nostalgia, mixed with something completely new from Barebells.

For the first time ever, the brand has placed a fruity filling right at the center of its bars, promising an experience fans have yet to taste in a protein snack before.

That jelly layer is encased in creamy peanut butter and made with real freeze-dried raspberries for a fresh, sharp finish.

It’s a coming-of-age moment for the combo Americans grew up with, and another clever piece of innovation from Barebells.

Barebells Peanut Butter & Jelly Bar Macros

As previously mentioned, the protein count stands at 20g per bar. Despite the gooey center, Barebells Peanut Butter & Jelly joins the standard protein bar line, rather than its lighter soft-core offering.

That respectable sum is achieved through a blend of calcium caseinate, whey protein isolate, whey protein concentrate, and soy protein isolate, providing complete and varied sources of key amino acids.

Despite peanut butter and real peanut pieces being used in the recipe, fat stays moderate at 6g per bar. Sugar is also kept in check at 2g per bar, along with 7g sugar alcohols.

At 200 calories per serving, Barebells Peanut Butter & Jelly is certainly lighter in most metrics than an actual PB&J, while being significantly heavier in protein.

Where to Buy It

The new Barebells Peanut Butter & Jelly extension is available direct via the brand’s website, priced at $29.99 for a box of 12.

It’ll also be rolling out into physical stores, with The Vitamin Shoppe among the first to stock it.
