We Tried The Ten Percent Club’s Slip & Flow Electrolytes – Here’s What We Thought
As we head towards summer, electrolyte powders look set to fill more cups, shakers and bottles than ever before. The category is absolutely booming right now, driven by increased uptake not just among athletes, but everyday wellness chasers.
Electrolytes have become a non-negotiable staple of many people’s daily routines – and the market is literally flooded with options.
However, as is the case with any supplement, not all formulas are created equal. Doses vary massively between those designed for light wellness and sports performance, and that nuance should have serious bearing on which brand you choose to give your money to.
With that in mind, we’re reviewing The Ten Percent Club’s Slip & Flow Electrolytes – a blend designed in collaboration with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing.
We’ll be unpacking everything from flavour to dosages, ultimately answering the question: are they a knockout, or just a limp jab?
Introducing The Ten Percent Club
The Ten Percent Club’s rise has been nothing short of remarkable. In 2022, founder Luke O’Reilly was fulfilling orders from his bedroom while working full-time as an engineer.
Just three years on, he signed a deal that saw the brand named the Official Supplement Partner of Matchroom Boxing.
By that point, The Ten Percent Club had already earned some high-profile backers, with professional footballers including Kemar Roofe, Patrick Bamford, Matty Cash, Matt Lowton and Joel Lynch adopting its products.

Born to provide “clean, effective sports supplements that athletes could trust”, the brand’s reputation was further bolstered by gaining Informed Sport certification – a key marker for trust and ingredient quality.
Today, its range covers practically every area of performance, from cardio and daily hydration to sleep and cognitive function.
As a joint venture with Matchroom Boxing, Slip & Flow Electrolytes are a headline addition to that ever-growing line-up.
My Honest Slip & Flow Electrolytes Review
As I always do, I’m going to break this Slip & Flow Electrolytes review down into a few manageable gulps:
- Formulation
- Taste
- Mixability & Performance
- Value for Money
Let’s get started.
Formulation
As I alluded to in my opening preamble, many electrolyte powders are light on the key ingredients: electrolytes.
You’d be forgiven for assuming that all supplement makers would dose their products to deliver the desired effects, but unfortunately, that’s not always the case.
Poor ingredient quality and quantities are common themes across the industry as a whole, and ones most brands get away with, as many consumers are none the wiser.
Fortunately, neither of those issues are present in The Ten Percent Club’s Slip & Flow Electrolytes.
Each sachet packs a full electrolyte spectrum, set at 770mg of sodium, 390mg of potassium, 60mg of calcium and 30mg of magnesium.
It earns its title as a performance-grade electrolyte formula through clinically meaningful doses and, most crucially, ingredients with a strong mineral profile.
What does this mean for you? Essentially, a much more efficacious mix that’ll help maintain hydration levels, replace what’s lost through sweat, combat cramps and fight fatigue – especially for those moving regularly.
As an added perk, Slip & Flow Electrolytes keep things clean with a sugar-free recipe that opts for stevia and natural flavourings to bring the sweetness, rather than anything artificial.
A small amount of sugar can actually help with rapid rehydration, but if you’re using the product every morning, it’s something you can probably do without.
The last thing to note is that Slip & Flow Electrolytes are Informed Sport certified, meaning they’re tested for banned substances and safe for athletes.
Taste
Slip & Flow Electrolytes come in two flavours: Lemon & Lime and Blue Raspberry. I opted for a box of the former, but was pleasantly surprised to find a bonus Blue Raspberry sachet nestled within.
Now, the flavour factor is huge with electrolytes, because striking the balance between sweet and salty is a difficult thing to achieve.
Tip the scale and the taste can either be sickly sweet and overly cloying or like drinking salted water (which nobody wants).

The Ten Percent Club has nailed the flavour here. It’s sweet and citrusy, with just enough sharpness to bring everything into harmony.
Given the high sodium count, I was concerned the aftertaste would lean too salty, but that wasn’t an issue whatsoever.
I’d happily reach for Slip & Flow Electrolytes on a hot day to quench my thirst, regardless of the wellness benefits. That, in my mind, is the biggest compliment I can pay.
I’ll be completely transparent: I haven’t actually tried the Blue Raspberry yet, as I’ve been enjoying the Lemon & Lime that much. When I do, I’ll be sure to update you with my thoughts.
Mixability & Performance
Again, the high electrolyte content made me slightly nervous about grit and residue lingering at the bottom of the glass.
But once again, my concerns were quickly extinguished. The Ten Percent Club recommends mixing each Slip & Flow Electrolytes sachet with 500–750ml of water.
Around 500ml seemed to do the trick for me with just a simple stir of a straw. Regarding performance, I had absolutely no qualms.
Aside from lifting weights, I still play a lot of football (albeit not at the level of some of The Ten Percent Club’s famous customers).
On training and match days, I’ve been sipping the mix before and after playing, finding it really useful for fighting off cramps.
Football aside, they’re also part of my new morning ritual, keeping me hydrated and brain fog-free on a daily basis.
For anyone focused on performance – be it at work, in the gym, on the football pitch or in the ring – these sachets come with my recommendation.
Value for Money
No Slip & Flow Electrolytes review would be complete without mentioning value for money. In other words, are you getting decent bang for your buck?
For me, the answer is a resounding yes. A box of 28 sticks is priced at £40 for a one-time purchase, or £32 via subscription.
Could you find electrolyte sachets cheaper? Most probably. Would they be of the same quality? I’m not so sure.
Ultimately, you’re paying for dosages that are clinically backed and designed to actually get the job done.
For that reason, Slip & Flow Electrolytes are a certified knockout. Head to The Ten Percent Club’s website to stock up, or visit the brand’s TikTok Shop.
