World of Sweets Collaboration Marks Next Phase of GHOST Energy’s UK Expansion
GHOST Energy’s UK debut was, without question, one of the highlights of summer 2025 in the fitness realm.
The legendary lifestyle brand finally put an end to years of waiting, hoping, and praying in July, arriving from the States with a four-flavour line-up, a tweaked formula, and plenty of hype.
Since then, securing a can of feel-good energy has largely been limited to online stockists and gyms.
Nutristore, Pit Stop Nutrition, Protein Package, Protein Pick and Mix, Active Sports Nutrition and many others were quick to list the cans for purchase.
PureGym also secured a deal that saw GHOST Energy placed in vending machines at over 430 locations nationwide.
In a recent interview with Gymfluencers, GHOST’s Head of UK Sales, Jon Hutchinson, revealed the brand will sell its fan-favourite energy drink directly via Amazon and TikTok Shop — covering all digital bases in the process.
As for brick-and-mortar offerings, the all-new cans have been trickling into chillers at convenience stores and forecourts at a steadier rate.
But with GHOST’s most recent announcement, it seems the focus has now firmly shifted to establishing a physical presence.
Hutchinson and co. have just lifted the lid on a partnership with World of Sweets — the UK’s largest confectionery distributor — to bring their bold energy to even more shelves across England, Scotland, and Wales.

World of Sweets operates across a host of distribution channels, including 14 Hancocks Cash & Carry stores, an e-commerce platform, and direct-to-store field sales.
The group boasts in-house brands like British staple Bonds of London, while it is also a distribution partner for several major global and nostalgic confectionery labels, including Sneak Energy, Sour Punch, Warheads, and more.
For GHOST Energy, this collaboration looks like the ideal fit for sweet success.
World of Sweets has form when it comes to helping American candy giants crack the UK market. It is the exclusive distributor for Nerds, Red Vines and Tootsie Roll, to name just a few.
The company has also diversified into healthier snacks and drinks — a category into which GHOST Energy’s zero-sugar, nootropics-boosted formula neatly fits.
With access to World of Sweets’ extensive network and expertise, expect to see GHOST Energy in more shops than ever before.
A Fifth Flavour Reveal?
In World of Sweets’ announcement, there was a possible Easter egg for a fifth UK GHOST Energy drink flavour.
Blue Raspberry, long-standing favourite Cherry Limeade, the signature OG, and Warheads Sour Watermelon made up the launch menu.
But that four-flavour roster was joined by Sour Pink Lemonade in the distributor’s reveal video.
Launched in 2023, Sour Pink Lemonade is a GHOST original flavour and has established itself as a beloved variety in the States, offering a fruity twist on a refreshing classic.
It’s not yet known whether this will be a World of Sweets exclusive, or whether it’s definitely coming, but it’s certainly one to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.
