Nakd Protein Bar Lineup Gets Viral-Inspired Cherry Flavour

If pistachio was the taste of 2025, then cherry is the flavour of 2026 – and Nakd Whole Foods have hopped right on that trend with their new cherry protein bar.

Joining Cocoa Hazelnut, Peanut, and Caramel in the Nakd protein bar family, this fruity option offers snackers an alternative to the chocolatey, nutty products already in the range.

Jo Agnew, marketing director at Lotus Natural Foods (Nakd Whole Foods’ parent company), explained: “Protein has become part of everyday snacking for millions of people, and as the category matures, expectations are changing.

“With so much [focus] on chocolate and caramel flavours, there’s clear appetite for something a little different. Cherry is the perfect next step – it’s a flavour shoppers already love, it’s on trend, and it brings a lighter, fruity option into the range.”

Nakd protein bar: what are the stats?

The new Cherry bar comes in at 181 calories and serves up 6.3g of protein, 17.5g of carbs, and 8.1g of fat.

So, it’s by no means the most protein-heavy bar out there – but, like the rest of the Nakd protein bar range, this tart cherry option is 100% natural, which, for many consumers, is a huge tick in the box.

How are Nakd bars made?

Each bar is made from just fruit and nuts, blended and cold-pressed into shape. That means no baking, no heat, and no complicated processing.

Because they’re “raw” and cold-pressed, more of the cherries’ vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants are preserved. Plus, there’s no added sugar, syrups, or artificial ingredients, either – the sweetness comes naturally from the fruit itself.

The bars are also vegan and free from gluten, wheat, and dairy, making them an easy, inclusive snack choice.

Shopping the New Cherry Nakd protein bar

At the moment, these are exclusive to Sainsbury’s supermarkets. You can pick up a single bar for £1.38, or stock up and grab a 3 x 45g multipack for RRP £3.30.
