3 Facts About Enhanced Games Star Reece Prescod

In January, Reece Prescod joined a whole host of other sprint sensations in signing up for the Enhanced Games.

Here’s everything you need to know about the British track star.

1) Reece Prescod is one of the fastest Brits ever

With a 100m PB of 9.93 seconds, Reece Prescod is one of just 11 British men ever to run a legal (non-wind-assisted) sub-10 seconds.

His all-time best was 9.88, but that time fell foul of a +2.4m following wind. Prescod is also lightning-fast over the longer 200m sprint, with a personal best of 20.31.

2) He’s an Olympian

Reece Prescod became an Olympian in 2021, competing in the delayed Tokyo 2020 Games.

As part of the Team GB athletics squad, he made it through to the 100m semi-final. However, his Olympics ended in disaster as he was disqualified for a false start.

The sprinter will no doubt have happier memories of his World Championship performances.

Prescod made his senior World Championships debut at the 2017 event in London, where he reached the 100m final, finishing seventh in front of a home crowd.

He returned to World Championships action in 2022 in Eugene, Oregon, anchoring Great Britain’s bronze 4x100m relay team to a brilliant bronze medal.

3) He recently turned his attention to coaching

Since retiring from professional athletics in 2025, Reece has focused on coaching and personal training.

He provides one-on-one and small-group sessions for adults aiming to improve everyday strength and fitness as well as sports performance.

Alongside this, he runs a sports academy for young footballers, teaching them transferable physical skills such as speed, agility, endurance, and coordination.
