Poppi Soda Makes Its UK Debut in Five Flavours

Poppi soda will officially land in the UK next month, marking the brand’s first global launch since it was acquired by CPG giant PepsiCo for $1.95 billion last year.

The better-for-you cans, which have enjoyed huge success in America, will be produced and distributed locally by bottler Carlsberg Britvic.

Tesco and Pret A Manger will be the first to stock them in chillers from 5 March, before wider distribution accelerates later in 2026.

What is Poppi Soda?

Poppi soda is one of several high-profile beverages leaning into the current gut health boom.

Described as a “modern soda”, it contains a lighter 5g of sugar while adding functional ingredients like apple cider vinegar and 3g of prebiotic fibre.

At around 35 calories per can, its nutritional panel is close to another trending drink under PepsiCo’s sizeable umbrella.

Following a sold-out Black Friday soft launch, Pepsi Prebiotic Cola recently rolled out across America in two flavours, formulated with the same amount of sugar and prebiotics.

As for Poppi, the five-flavour range – Strawberry Lemon, Orange, Raspberry Rose, Lemon Lime and Wild Berry – will be sold in 330ml cans, both singly and in multipacks.

Previously plugged by celebrities like Charli XCX, expect Poppi soda to quickly make a splash in the UK beverage market.
