GHOST Clear Whey Gets a Rainbow Makeover for 2025
GHOST is known for epic collabs, and its annual link-up with Sour Strips is arguably the pick of the bunch.
Since 2023, Maxx Chewning’s candy brand has lent the legendary lifestyle operator its Rainbow flavor to inject a splash of color across various GHOST products.
Last year saw GHOST Hydration, Energy, Intra, Legend, and Pump get a super sour twist. This time around, GHOST has gone a step further with an inclusion nobody saw coming.
The initial announcement confirmed the return of its Legend pre-workout and Energy in Sour Strips Rainbow, alongside a fresh entrant in GHOST BCAA.
GHOST then threw a major curveball by revealing its Clear Whey Protein Isolate was getting a Rainbow makeover for 2025’s run.
Packing 25g of protein, just 1g of carbs, and 100 calories per 35g scoop, Rainbow GHOST Clear Whey is easily the biggest surprise of this year’s drop.
While sweet flavors are the norm, you rarely see candy varieties breach the walls of the category.
GHOST Clear Whey only became a permanent part of the line-up in May, offering a refreshing alternative to milky staples with Blue Raspberry, Strawberry Watermelon, and Orange Cream flavors.
Sour Strips Rainbow temporarily joins that roster in the US and Europe on Tuesday, September 9 at 12pm CT and 6pm BST.
The Sour Strips versions of Legend, BCAA, and Energy drop at the same time. Legend and BCAA will be released in America, Australia, and Europe, while Rainbow Energy is a US-only inclusion.
GHOST has, of course, just launched its cult-favorite Energy drink in the UK this summer. However, with a tweaked recipe, it’s unlikely to get as many limited-edition flavors as the version available in the States.
