3 Facts About American Gladiators Star Ayinde’ Neon’ Warren

From the football field to the fitness industry, Ayinde Warren has built a career around athletic performance and coaching.

And now the 6’2” Maryland native will head into the Gladiators Arena as ‘Neon’ when Prime Video’s reboot lands on our screens on 17 April.

1) He Was an All-Conference College Football Player

Neon played collegiate football as a safety at West Virginia State University and the University of Sioux Falls, earning All-Conference honours along the way.

A career-ending injury ultimately brought his playing days to a close, but rather than step away from sport entirely, he redirected that same drive into fitness.

Warren went on to found Swole Patrole Fitness, a coaching community built around helping men build strength and discipline.

2) He Holds an MBA – and Made History Earning it

Neon holds a BS in Sports Studies alongside an MBA in Organisational Leadership.

In achieving these academic feats, he became the first African-American to earn an MBA from the Vucurevich School of Business at the University of Sioux Falls through its accelerated 12-month programme.

3) He’s a Model and Actor

Away from the gym,  Ayinde ‘Neon’ Warren has built a career in front of the camera.

He’s walked the catwalk at both Miami Swim Week and New York Fashion Week, appeared in national commercials for brands including Under Armour, Bud Light, and Hulu, and has starred in TV productions including Chad Powers and Aaron Hernandez: American Sports Story.
