Back in February, Barebells tapped into the appetite for all things green and nutty with the launch of its Pistachio Spread protein bar.
The viral-inspired variety joined Hazelnut and Chocolate Spread in the brand’s relatively new Gooey Bar range, initially released in its homeland of Sweden.

Introducing Barebells Pistachio Spread
Barebells Pistachio Spread offers one of the internet’s favourite flavour combinations, popularised by the Dubai chocolate craze.
As the Gooey strapline suggests, it features a doughy base topped with a smooth pistachio filling and wrapped in silky chocolate.
Despite sounding like the pinnacle of indulgence, the macros remain reasonable, with each bar delivering a solid 15g of protein, 14g of carbs (with no added sugar) and around 170 calories.
Much like the Soft Bar collection, it’s lighter in protein than Barebells’ standard snacks. But the key trade-off here is taste and texture, with the Swedish giant promising an experience that’s worlds away from dry or chalky alternatives.
