BUFFS is getting ready for the full launch of their ‘world-first’ protein-loaded beef puffs.
With pre-orders shipping from Tuesday, 10 February, and the wider rollout set for mid-March, gym-goers and health enthusiasts are already chomping at the bit to get their hands on these innovative snacks.
Made from 100% clean ingredients
Getting to this point is the culmination of a long and often experimental process for BUFFS co-founders George Zhou and Beckett Kitaen.
They’ve gone through numerous rounds of development in a bid to figure out how to turn grass-fed beef into a crispy, moreish, Cheeto-like snack.
But now, they’ve managed it: the result being light, airy, seed-oil-free beef puffs which are packed with protein.
Made with just 7 ingredients – grass-fed beef, egg whites, avocado oil, onion, tapioca, salt, and seasoning – each 170-calorie pack of BUFFS serves up 12g of protein.
And there are three flavours to choose from: Original Beef, Cheesy, and Sriracha.
Where did the idea come from?
Speaking last year, George explained that BUFFS were born out of a desire to combine natural, high-protein meat products with the “airy, crunchy, addictive snacks that we loved as [kids]: Goldfish, Cheez-Its, [and] pretzels”.
