Healthy meal prep brand Frive has expanded its functional drinks offering with a six-strong line-up of juices and shots.
Developed in partnership with juice experts PRESS Healthfoods, the range comprises four cold-pressed juices and two wellness shots, each built around specific vitamins and health outcomes.
Sweet Greens, Clean Carrot, Super Ginger and Very Berry make up the juices, all priced at £4.25 and packing more than half a kilogram of fruit and vegetables in every bottle.
Sweet Greens is formulated with vitamins B6 and B12 to support immunity and reduce fatigue, while Clean Carrot goes one step further with added vitamin C to help normal collagen formation.
Super Ginger, as expected, targets an immune boost with vitamins C and D alongside zinc. Rounding out the quartet is Very Berry, which takes a skin-focused approach with vitamin C, zinc and vitamin A.
As for the wellness shots, Ginger & Turmeric promises a bold blend of ginger, apple cider vinegar, turmeric, oregano and black pepper, with added vitamin B12 for an extra wellness edge.
Perhaps the most intriguing of the lot is Frive’s Collagen Shot, which delivers 5g of hydrolysed bovine collagen plus vitamins C and A via a pineapple, pear and lemon juice base.
All of Frive’s juices and shots can be bolted onto orders individually or purchased as a complete bundle.
A New Frontier For Frive
This isn’t quite Frive’s first foray into functional drinks. The brand already offers a collection of protein smoothies in collaboration with EXALT.
It does, however, represent an exciting new territory. Frive points to market data showing the UK functional juice shot category is now worth £100 million, having surged at a compound annual growth rate of 47% over the past three years.
