I turned to HelloFresh in dire need of consistency with my diet. With that in mind, I scrolled through the extensive menu and was taken aback by what I found. As I was looking for dishes that were high in protein but moderate in fat and carbohydrates I thought I’d be limited to the calorie smart range.

I opted for a plan that provides five meals a week for two people. Here’s where my little life hack comes into play. My partner is vegan so we seldom cook and eat the same meals. So I usually box up my second portion and take it to work for my lunch the next day. 

That way, I’m usually surpassing 70-80g of protein from two meals. Chuck in breakfast and my post-workout protein shake and I’m sorted for the day. Another huge bonus of HelloFresh is that it slashed my food waste.
