Big changes are coming to the Arnold Sports Festival 2027.
The Arnold Sports Festival 2027 is set to take place in Columbus, Ohio from March 4th to 7th, and organisers have announced two major updates that are sure to make the fans happy.
The first is the introduction of full RFID technology across the festival. The second is the addition of a fourth day to the schedule.
A smoother setup for Arnold Sports Festival 2027
One of the main updates for 2027 is that both the Arnold Sports Festival 2027 and the Arnold Sports UK Festival 2027 will be 100% RFID enabled.
RFID stands for Radio Frequency Identification, and it’s basically a way of using wireless technology to identify and track tickets, passes, and access points.
For people going to the Arnold, that should mean less faff from the start.
Getting into the expo should be quicker, with RFID tickets helping move people through the doors faster than you can with paper tickets. Once you’re inside, it should also make things like samples, meet and greets, and just moving around the event much easier to manage.
For an event like the Arnold Sports Festival, with big crowds, big names, and loads going on, that’s a pretty welcome update.
Brian Powers, Executive Director of the Arnold Sports Festival, shared the news on Instagram, saying:
“This isn’t just an upgrade. It’s the next evolution of the Arnold experience. 100% RFID. One connected festival. Built for the future.”

Arnold Sports Festival 2027 Will Run for Four Days
The other big change is that the Arnold Sports Festival is expanding from three days to four.
Thursday is being added as a curated experience for VIP guests, industry professionals, and fans who want a bit more space to explore the expo, connect with people, and really take everything in before the busiest parts of the weekend kick off.
Brian Powers posted about the news in his stories, saying:
“Big news: we are ADDING a fourth day. Thursday at the Arnold will be a curated experience designed for VIP guests, industry professionals, and fans who want more space to connect, explore, and enjoy the expo.
Think Sundays in years past. That energy, that breathing room. That is what we are building toward.”
Bigger, Smarter, and Better Than Ever
The Arnold is always going to be a big, busy weekend. That’s part of what makes it such a fun one for fitness fans.
But with an extra day on the schedule and RFID technology across the festival, Arnold Sports Festival 2027 should be easier to navigate from the moment fans arrive.
There’ll be more time to explore, more space to move around, and hopefully a lot less time spent standing in queues.
