We rank Kollo Health Liquid Marine Collagen across formulation, taste, ease of use, results and value for money
My skin is often my own worst enemy. As a long-term eczema sufferer, any change in season usually spells flare-ups, irritation and a persistent self-consciousness that tells me I need to hide the worst of my dry patches away from sight.
During winter, that’s not such a bad thing, but when summer rolls around, it starts to feel annoyingly restrictive.
I’m either in the gym or out running most days, and I should be able to wear my favourite sets without that nagging feeling at the back of my mind.
As I’m also not getting any younger (and my frown lines are now starting to look suspiciously like wrinkles), I decided it was time to give collagen another shot.
I’ve got something of an on-again, off-again relationship with collagen, because most blends I’ve tried have mostly flattered to deceive.
This year, however, I decided to give Kollo Health Liquid Marine Collagen a shot. It’s a little pricier, but with plenty of 5-star reviews and multiple awards to its name, I wanted to find out whether the results matched the glowing testimonials.
With that in mind, here’s my honest Kollo Health Liquid Marine Collagen review.
Introducing Kollo Health
Before we move on to my experience with Kollo Health Liquid Marine Collagen, I always like to start my reviews by sharing a little bit about the brand.
Kollo Health was founded in 2020 by Jenni Falconer, a TV and radio broadcaster, avid marathon runner and host of the RunPod podcast.
She started the brand to create supplements that were grounded in evidence, made with high-quality ingredients, and developed with care and integrity, which we absolutely love to hear.
Liquid Marine Collagen was actually the first product launched by Kollo. Despite the additions of Pure Creatine, Electrolytes+, Balance+ and Flex+, it remains the most popular to this day.
It comes in squeezable sachets packed with 10,000mg of marine collagen peptides, four B vitamins, Vitamin C and L-Lysine. We’ll dig a little deeper into the formulation very shortly, but the early signs are all positive.
My Kollo Health Liquid Marine Collagen Review
To give you the best insight possible, I’ll be breaking my thoughts down into a few bite-sized sections:
- Formulation
- Taste and Ease of Use
- Results
- Value for Money
Preamble done and dusted, let’s get this show on the road.
Formulation
One of Kollo’s key promises is to separate itself from “mass-produced, generic bulk collagen”, and it certainly does that.
The hero ingredient is 10,000mg of Naticol® 4000, a high-grade, clinically studied marine collagen chosen for its purity and superior bioavailability.
Essentially, that means your body will actually be able to absorb and use what’s in the sachets, rather than leaning on cheaper raw materials to spin a profit.
Alongside that hearty dose is a full RDA of vitamins B1, B5, B6, B12 and C, supporting collagen formation and smooth energy metabolism.
That’s joined by L-Lysine, an essential amino acid that serves as a vital building block for proteins in your body. Again, its job is to help boost natural collagen synthesis, ensuring you get more from every last drop.
As your body can’t produce L-Lysine naturally, it has to be supplemented, making this a really smart inclusion.
Also worth noting is that Kollo Health Liquid Marine Collagen is sweetened naturally with stevia, batch-tested for banned substances, and free from common irritators such as gluten, dairy, lactose, soy and wheat. Top marks from me so far.
Taste and Ease of Use
In my humble opinion, taste and ease of use are crucial factors when reviewing any supplement, but that’s particularly true when talking about collagen.
Consistency is where collagen thrives. Results aren’t always instant – they can take a few weeks to begin to show.
Sticking with a supplement and making it a non-negotiable part of your daily routine requires two key elements: flavour that keeps you coming back, and a format that just makes life simple.

Kollo Health Liquid Marine Collagen ticks both those boxes. The sachets are super versatile: you can mix them with around 170ml of water, add them to your favourite juice or smoothie, or squeeze them straight from the packet.
I chose the latter because the Tropical flavour really is a 10/10. It’s fruity, exotic, and basically everything you’d want it to be, without any weird, sickly-sweet aftertaste.
I genuinely have no complaints here. On work mornings, I grabbed a sachet as I dashed out the door – no second thought needed.
When I had a little more time at the weekend, I whipped up a smoothie with my favourite fruits. Both ways were delicious.
Results
One of the main reasons I was initially drawn to Kollo Health Liquid Marine Collagen was the sheer volume of independent studies behind it.
Positive reviews are one thing, but actual scientific evidence is hard to ignore. That gave me a lot of hope heading into this review – and I certainly wasn’t let down.
After a few weeks of consistent use, I started to notice genuine improvements in my eczema and overall skin health. That was by far the biggest win for me, and ultimately the reason I wanted to try the product in the first place.
The dry, irritated patches that often crop up when the seasons change seemed calmer, while my skin generally looked healthier and more hydrated.
I’m certainly not claiming it was an overnight miracle cure, but the difference was noticeable enough for both me and those around me to recognise it.
What surprised me most, however, was the knock-on effect elsewhere.
My hair and nails both seemed to benefit significantly from the daily sachets. I started receiving compliments about how glossy and healthy my hair looked, which was an unexpected bonus and a welcome confidence boost.
I’m now around two months into my journey with Kollo Health Liquid Marine Collagen, and if anything, I’m even more excited to see what the coming weeks bring.
The results so far have been incredibly encouraging, and for the first time in a long while, I’ve found a collagen supplement that feels worthy of a permanent place in my routine.
Value for Money
Let’s address the elephant in the room: Kollo Health Liquid Marine Collagen isn’t cheap.
A one-time purchase of 14 sachets is priced at £33.53, while a 28-day subscription costs £57. However, value for money and affordability aren’t always the same thing.
When you consider the quality of the ingredients, the clinically studied Naticol® marine collagen, the additional vitamins and amino acids, and most importantly, the results I’ve personally experienced, the price starts to feel far more reasonable.
There’s an old saying: buy cheap, buy twice.
In my experience, that rings true here. I’ve tried cheaper collagen products before and rarely felt compelled to stick with them. Kollo is the first one that has delivered noticeable improvements in the areas that mattered most to me.
If you’re looking for a collagen supplement that actually delivers rather than simply making promises, Kollo Health Liquid Marine Collagen is a no-brainer.
Better still, you can reduce the cost of your first subscription by 15% using our Kollo Health discount code, GF15, at checkout, making the long-term commitment that little bit easier on the wallet.
