Nathaniel Massiah headed to Diamond Gym New Jersey to rep the UK and see what the most dangerous gym in the world is really like. Here’s how it went down.
Diamond Gym New Jersey is one of those gyms that a lot of fitness influencers have on their bucket list.
It’s gritty, old school, and has built up one hell of a reputation in the bodybuilding world. And a lot of people want to check it out for themselves to see if it’s really as hardcore as it sounds.
The fact that a visit there is almost guaranteed to make good content probably helps too, right?!
Joining the ranks of those who’ve been brave enough to take the plunge and head to Diamond for a workout is Nathaniel Massiah.
So let’s talk about what went down.
Diamond Gym New Jersey
Nicknamed the most dangerous gym in the world, Diamond Gym New Jersey is not for the faint-hearted.
It first opened in the 1970s, and has built its reputation up over the years as being the place to train when you want to push yourself to your limits.
Big names in the fitness influencer world like Will Tennyson, Jesse James West, and Logan Paul, have taken on the challenge, and it was only a matter of time before Nate joined their ranks.

Massiah Repping the UK
Nate didn’t head into Diamond Gym New Jersey alone. He brought some back up with him, with Nonso Chinye and Joey Shaw joining him for the session. And to be fair, with Diamond’s reputation as the most dangerous gym in the world, you can’t really blame him for not wanting to walk in there on his own.
Right at the start of the video, Nate said he was there repping the UK and wanted to show the guys at Diamond Gym what the UK boys could do.
So, how did that go?
Well, they were put through it pretty much straight away.
The session kicked off with what looked like an endless round of burpees, which very nearly took Nonso out. But with the whole room shouting them through it, they managed to get it done.
And that was only the beginning.
From there, they were properly put through their paces with weighted squats, tricep pushdowns, and more pushups than anyone would ever willingly sign up for. Every time it looked like they might be getting a second to breathe, something else got thrown at them.
By the end, all three of them were clearly absolutely knackered, but they’d earned the respect of the room. One of the guys at Diamond told Nate he’d done his country proud by coming over and completing the workout, which says a lot about how tough the whole thing was.
Even though they were cooked, they all seemed genuinely fired up afterwards. And that’s a big part of what Diamond’s all about. Training there forces you to step up and realise what you can actually do when you keep pushing.
