Quaker Blends Oats and Protein Powder in New Oat Shake & Go Bottles

Quaker has launched Oat Shake & Go, a new blend of oats and protein powder that’s ready to drink in under a minute. No bowl, no spoon, no overnight wait; just a quick, convenient breakfast option for busy days.

Here’s what you need to know.

How Does Quaker’s Oats and Protein Powder Blend Work?

Breakfast won’t get much easier than this. Just pour cold milk, a milk alternative or water into the bottle, screw the cap on tightly, flip it upside down, and shake until everything is smooth and blended.

The formula itself is built around whole-grain oats, calcium caseinate and whey protein isolate, delivering 15g of protein on its own or up to 23g when made with 8oz of milk. Each serving also provides 23g of carbohydrates (9g of which sugars) and 3g of fibre.

What Flavours Are Available?

Oat Shake & Go launches in two flavours: Strawberry & Banana and Cinnamon Vanilla, both made without artificial preservatives, flavours, or added colours.

In an early taste test by Simply Recipes, Cinnamon Vanilla came out as the better of the two, with a well-balanced mix of both profiles. However, the Strawberry & Banana option was criticised for having a more artificial aftertaste.

Where to Buy Quaker’s Oats and Protein Powder Mix

Quaker Oat Shake & Go is rolling out throughout July and will be available in several major US retailers. A single bottle will be priced at around $3.49, putting it in line with other ready-to-drink protein shakes on the market.
