Ramon Dino Helps Launch Subway Protein Series in Brazil

Subway have launched a new collection of protein-packed sandwiches in Brazil and got Ramon Dino on board to help spread the word.

Subway have launched a fitness-focused collection of sandwiches in their restaurants in Brazil and they brought in a big-hitter to help them promote it.

In a move that we might not have expected but that actually makes total sense, current Classic Mr Olympia champion Ramon Dino has teamed up with the sandwich shop to spread the word about this protein-packed new range.

Ramon Dino

If you’re not already familiar with Ramon Dino, he’s one of the biggest bodybuilding names in Brazil right now.

His full name is Ramon Rocha Queiroz, and he’s made a huge name for himself in Classic Physique over the last few years.

He won the Arnold Classic Ohio in 2023, then hit an even bigger milestone in 2025 when he won the Classic Physique title at Mr. Olympia.

It’s not just his bodybuilding credentials that make him a great fit for this Subway campaign though, it’s also his fun personality and natural energy that shine through in the commercials and social media ads.

Subway Protein Series

So what’s actually in this new sandwich collection that Ramon Dino is helping to promote? Well, it’s 3 chicken-based subs, all packed with protein but under 500 calories.

The sandwiches are:

The Protein Supreme Chicken – bread of your choice, double roasted chicken, melted mozzarella cheese, delicious supreme sauce, onion, lettuce, and tomato.

The Protein Teriyaki Chicken – bread of your choice, double teriyaki chicken, melted mozzarella cheese, sweet and sour onion sauce, onion, lettuce, and tomato

The Protein Honey Mustard Chicken – bread of your choice, double roasted chicken, melted mozzarella cheese, honey mustard sauce, olives, cucumber, onion, lettuce, and tomato.

Each one comes with double chicken, which is where that big protein hit is coming from, and that makes them feel much more in step with the kind of food a lot of gym goers are actively looking for.

You’ve still got the familiar Subway format, with your choice of bread, salad, sauce, and all the rest of it, but this range puts the protein side front and centre in a way the brand has not really done before.

Final thoughts

Brazil is definitely not short on higher protein food options these days, but Subway is one of the bigger names to really lean into that shift with a launch like this.

At the end of the day, this new sandwich collection is a simple idea. It’s Subway taking what people already know and love, and giving it a more protein focused spin with double meat and clearer fitness led marketing. But sometimes that’s exactly what works.

It puts a lot more attention on the fact that there are better options sitting on the menu than people might have realised, and Ramon Dino helps make sure that message lands with the right crowd.
