Reviewing Creatime’s Hybrid Protein and Creatine Bars

Are Creatime’s Protein and Creatine Bars the Real Deal? We Put Them to the Test

As someone who takes multiple supplements on a daily basis, I’m always on the lookout for ways to streamline my stack.

Between protein powder, creatine, electrolytes, and various other bolt-ons, there’s a lot of liquid to gulp and plenty of pills to swallow.

That unfortunately means I’m often left making up for lost time late at night, chasing down a chocolate protein shake with a cola-flavoured creatine mix to ensure I’ve ticked every box. Let me tell you, that’s one cocktail I wouldn’t recommend.

Yes, I could solve that problem by being more regimented with when and how I take each supplement, but life isn’t always that straightforward.

Work, travel and social commitments throw spanners into the works, and bulk bags of powders don’t exactly scream on-the-go convenience.

Some days, making it all work takes a certain set of organisational skills that I clearly don’t possess.

So when I heard about the launch of Creatime’s protein and creatine bars, I was instantly sold on the concept.

I don’t know many people that wouldn’t find the prospect of protein and creatine in the same convenient snack appealing.

Eager to see if the execution matched the promise, I grabbed a variety box and got stuck in. Here’s my honest Creatime review.

Introducing Creatime

Creatime launched at the start of 2026 as “the bar that changed creatine forever.”

The very name, which breaks down to creatine, anytime, speaks to why so many people (myself included) find it difficult to stay consistent with creatine.

Shakes are often gritty, chalky and represent a habit that takes discipline and consistency to build. Creatime, on the other hand, aims to remove the friction points by making the process simple, delicious, portable and with the added perk of protein.

Mixing a shake is hardly an arduous task, but unwrapping a bar on the move is much easier – especially when it’s coated in chocolate.

Another interesting point to note is that Creatime isn’t exclusively targeting what you might call the ‘typical’ creatine audience, and by that I mean male gym-goers.

The bars are branded as unisex, hammering home the message that women often have more to gain from supplementing creatine.

You could say the bars make creatine feel accessible in every sense – a breeze to use, easy to understand and not confined to macho gym culture.

My Honest Review of Creatime’s Protein and Creatine Bars

As I often do in my reviews, I’m going to be breaking this one down into a few bite-sized sections:

  • Formulation
  • Taste & Texture
  • Ease of Use
  • Value for Money

Without further ado, let’s get started.

Formulation

There’s a lot to like about Creatime’s protein and creatine bars.

Each serving packs 15g of protein and 3g of creatine – enough to make it a credible option as either a standalone protein bar or creatine supplement.

The respectable protein content comes from a blend of milk protein isolate, hydrolysed bovine collagen, soy protein isolate, and whey protein isolate, providing a varied suite of benefits that spans muscle recovery to healthier hair and skin.

As for the creatine count, it sits within the widely accepted gold standard daily dose (between 3g and 5g), matching what you’ll find in many powders or alternatives such as creatine gummies.

The wider macros are in line with what you would expect from a protein bar: 3.5g of fat, 16g of carbs, 1.2g of sugar, and 144 calories.

What you wouldn’t typically expect from a protein bar, however, is creatine – which is clearly where Creatime wins.

Unboxing Creatime’s Protein and Creatine Bars

At this point, you might be wondering, “Why hasn’t anybody done this before?”

There aren’t too many protein and creatine bars out there, placing Creatime at the inception of a category that looks primed to explode.

The truth is, creatine is famously unstable in high-heat, high-moisture environments.

That means alternative formats like gummies, bars and ready-to-drink cans have historically been hard to execute, as James Smith proved when he outed several gummy makers.

However, the industry is evolving and brands are finding ways to prevent creatine from degrading. Creatime is one of them, and spent plenty of time stress-testing the concept before launching to market.

Now that it has arrived, the brand ensures each batch is third-party tested to make doubly sure that what’s printed on the wrapper is present in the bars.

All things considered, Creatime’s protein and creatine bars more than impress on paper. But do they pass the taste test?

Taste and Texture

Creatime’s protein and creatine bars don’t just hold their own nutritionally; they genuinely deliver where so many functional snacks fall flat: taste.

I picked up a multipack to sample all four flavours: Salted Caramel, Cookie Crunch, Triple Choc and Creamy Raspberry. Safe to say, there wasn’t a weak link in the bunch.

The standout, however, was the texture. In a category often plagued by dense, chewy bars that put your jaw through the wringer, Creatime goes in the complete opposite direction.

The Creatime Cross Section

Each bar was feather-light and almost doughy, with just enough crunch to hold everything together and stop the experience becoming overly soft. It’s unlike anything I’ve previously experienced from a protein bar.

Taste-wise, all four flavours landed impressively well too. Rich and indulgent without crossing the line into sickly sweetness, they feel far more like a genuine treat than a functional supplement disguised as one.

Creamy Raspberry probably edged the others by a nose, but honestly, every flavour was comfortably in 10/10 territory.

Ease of Use

This is ultimately where Creatime’s protein and creatine bars carve out such a compelling lane for themselves.

Yes, mixing a shake is simple enough. But eating a chocolate-coated bar is simpler still – and, crucially, something most people will actually look forward to.

There’s no shaker bottle to clean or powdery residue, nor worrying about whether you’ve packed creatine before leaving the house. Just unwrap the bar and you’re done.

That convenience makes consistency feel significantly more achievable, which is important given creatine only really shines when taken daily.

They lower the barrier to entry in every sense – both in terms of usability and who the product is actually for.

I could genuinely see Creatime encouraging more people to add creatine into their routines, and that’s a huge positive.

Value for Money

At £35 for a 12-bar multipack, or £28 if you subscribe, Creatime is no more costly than any protein bar you’d pick up in a supermarket.

Bear in mind you’re also getting 3g of creatine for that price, in a format built to help you stay consistent. In my humble opinion, that represents solid value for money.

Would I buy them again? Without hesitation. Creatime’s protein and creatine bars mark a brilliant debut and are a welcome addition to the space.
