Alphalete Instagram: Why Christian Guzman is “Starting Over”

Alphalete Instagram Launches Women-Only Space

Christian Guzman has revealed why he’s “starting over” with the Alphalete Instagram account.

In May, the Texas-based influencer wiped the page clean and posted the cryptic message, “Thank you for everything.”

What seemed like a shocking goodbye instead marked a full-scale rebrand, unlike anything seen before.

A new “Be More” mantra usurped the old “Proud but Never Satisfied” slogan, with a revamped website, app, and loyalty program leading the refresh.

This was paired with faster-than-ever delivery times and a more sophisticated, far-reaching distribution network designed to improve global service.

A series of major apparel drops followed, including Alphalete Pump — a women’s collection Guzman described as “the best thing since Amplify.”

Now, just a few months later, the 3D Energy Drinks founder has launched a separate Alphalete Instagram exclusively for women.

“Alphalete now has two Instagrams,” Guzman explained in a recent vlog.

“This is a very big move that we’ve honestly been debating on doing for a very long time. We’re finally taking the jump and making it happen.”

Why a Separate Alphalete Instagram Makes Sense for Female Fans

Since the rebrand, Guzman says he’s been more mindful about what content appears on the platform.

The tightened vision and renewed focus on women’s apparel caused the Alphalete Instagram to become slightly muddled, with the “Be More” message diluted by growth and sales-focused posts.

“Combining all different types of content on the only single Alphalete Instagram has kind of made it a little bit difficult to just pop in, check the brand out, and get clear understanding of what we’re trying to do,” he added.

“It makes it feel all over the place.”

With women now making up the majority of Alphalete customers, and posts on Alphalete Instagram reflecting this shift, Guzman decided a separate account was the best play.

“To be clear: the Alphalete page is not turning into a men’s page — it will still be unisex,” he continued.

“But that will be a place for our brand, core messaging, and direction. You go to the Alphalete Instagram and understand what the brand is, and what it’s trying to do.

“And the women’s page will be a place for a lot more content to be pushed out, and a lot more communities to be built.”

Guzman says the change will let Alphalete’s female fanbase see more of the aesthetic, vibe-heavy content they love while enjoying their own dedicated space within the brand’s ecosystem.

At the time of writing, alphalete.women has 5,461 followers.
