Everything We Know So Far About the 2025 Barebells Protein Bar Advent Calendar Drop
Over the past few festive seasons, sports nutrition brands have been putting their own spin on traditional advent calendars.
Myprotein, Grenade, and Barebells have emerged as the big three in the UK, with each offering a functional take on the typically chocolate-heavy countdown.
Indeed, all three have revealed details of this year’s version well ahead of December 1st. Myprotein got the jump on its rivals by launching an assortment of protein snacks, supplements, and accessories for pre-sale.
Grenade then confirmed it was returning to 24 full-sized portions of its beloved protein bar — a welcome change following 2024’s shrunken windows.
Swedish giant Barebells has now followed suit by locking in the official UK release date.
Here’s what you can expect from 2025’s edition of the Barebells Protein Bar Advent Calendar, including news of some exciting additions.
Barebells Protein Bar Advent Calendar: When’s it Dropping?
Father Liftmas has ramped up his festive preparations early this year, it seems. The Barebells Protein Bar Advent Calendar drops just shy of a month before the formal countdown on Thursday, November 6th.
Much like Grenade, the doors will conceal 24 full-sized bars, in a mixture of Barebells’ soft and original formats.
The original variety returns 20g of protein per bar, while its soft, gooey cousin comes in ever so slightly lighter, delivering 16-17g of protein.
Of those 24 bars, 10 will be flavours UK fans already know and love. However, there’s extra incentive to grab the Barebells Protein Bar Advent Calendar this year, as 14 will be exclusive flavours.
It’s a rare chance for the brand’s UK following to sample varieties that would otherwise only be available in America or Sweden.
One of those elusive flavours we know will be in 2025’s calendar is the fittingly seasonal Peppermint Bark.

Much like you’re guaranteed to over-indulge on Christmas Day, the Barebells Protein Bar Advent Calendar is almost certain to sell out.
