Barebells Protein Soda Brings Together Caffeine and Whey in One Can
Barebells made its name delivering delicious, dessert-inspired protein bars and shakes.
The former, in particular, is rated as one of the best protein snacks worldwide for its dual impact of great taste and a solid hit of the muscle-building macronutrient.
But over the past week, the Swedish giant has been teasing something completely new. All signs pointed toward a lighter, fizzier, and altogether fruitier offering — and that’s exactly what’s landed.
Barebells Protein Soda is taking the nutrition heavyweight’s lineup to refreshing new heights.
Landing exclusively in the US, the hybrid drink combines caffeine and high-quality protein in one can. Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the big drop.
Introducing Barebells Protein Soda
It’s no secret that Barebells and NOCCO are both part of the Vitamin Well Group family. Until now, we haven’t really seen either brand venture into the other’s lane.
However, Barebells Protein Soda definitely carries shades of NOCCO’s multi-purpose approach to formulation.
Each can delivers 10g of clear whey protein, which is a rarity — and a welcome one — in the protein soda space.
Many similar launches tend to lean on hydrolyzed collagen peptides as their protein source due to their neutral flavor profile.
While collagen boasts beauty and wellness benefits, it’s not a complete protein. That makes it far less effective than whey for actually building muscle.

So, while the 10g marker doesn’t break records in terms of quantity, Barebells Protein Soda scores big on quality compared to several of its competitors.
The hybrid element comes via 200mg of caffeine per 12 oz can. Combined with a low-calorie, sugar-free formula, that makes Barebells Protein Soda a fun, functional option for powering through mid-afternoon slumps or refueling after a morning workout.
The new cans debut in three bold flavors — Wild Strawberry, Pineapple Sunrise, and Sweet Cherry — and officially launch next week on Tuesday, October 21, with 12-packs available from Barebells’ website.
