Dubai Active and Dubai Muscle Show have pledged their full support to Emirati businesses impacted by Iran’s ongoing attacks.
On Thursday, 26 March, UAE air defences intercepted a further 15 ballistic missiles and 11 drones.
Since the start of Iran’s aggression, the air defence systems have intercepted 15 cruise missiles, 372 ballistic missiles, and 1,826 drones.
Abu Dhabi authorities confirmed earlier today that two people – a Pakistani and an Indian national – were killed after debris from an Iranian ballistic missile, shot down over Sweihan Street, caused casualties and damage.
At the time of writing, that brings the total number of fatalities to 11, with a further 169 wounded to varying extents.
The conflict has taken a toll on several industries, not least the UAE’s tourism sector. With numerous countries advising against non-essential travel to the region, hospitality businesses are already beginning to feel the impact of lost trade in peak months.
It’s a similar story for many companies across health and fitness, who are grappling with the fallout of the same unprecedented circumstances.
In a bid to unite the community in times of uncertainty, Dubai Active and Dubai Muscle Show, the Middle East’s leading health, fitness, wellness, and bodybuilding events, are using their platforms to champion those in need.
“For the past 10 years, Dubai Active and Dubai Muscle Show have always been about supporting local businesses across the region,” they wrote in a joint statement on social media.

“That commitment matters now more than ever. If you know a local brand that deserves to be seen, comment and tag them below to give them the spotlight.
“We’re also opening up our full platform – from social and email to our live events and network, to support the businesses that need it most.
“If your brand has been impacted and you’re looking for support, share your story with us at info@dubaiactiveshow.com.
“We’ll do everything we can to help.”
Dubai Active and Dubai Muscle Show finished their joint statement with the words, “United in Strength.”
Their callout was met by plenty of comments tagging the very best brands the UAE has to offer.
Unsurprisingly, LFG Dubai received plenty of love. The homegrown fitness and social club has quickly cultivated one of the city’s most engaged and inspired communities, earning deals with the likes of PUMA.
Standing for Lift, Focus, Grind, LFG hosts weekly social runs at Kite Beach and high-energy Sunday bootcamps in Al Quoz, binding its members together through their shared passion for movement and progress.
Dubai Active and Dubai Muscle Show have encouraged their supporters to follow and engage with all the brands tagged, spreading some richly needed positivity.
