5 Facts About Enhanced Games Star Shania Collins

American Shania Collins signed on the dotted line with the Enhanced Games in December 2025, becoming the controversial event’s first-ever female sprinter.

But she’s also someone that you might not be familiar with – yet. Here are five things you need to know about the super-quick sprinter.

1) She was a college track star

Shania Collins had a standout National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) career, competing first at the University of Texas and later at the University of Tennessee.

She excelled in the 60m, 100m, and 200 m, earning multiple All-America honours and setting school records, particularly in the 60m indoors and 200m outdoors.

In June 2018, she hit a major milestone at an NCAA meet, running her first-ever sub-11-second 100m, clocking 10.98 in the semi-final of the Eugene NCAA Div. 1 Championships.

Collins consistently reached NCAA finals and was part of 4x100m relay squads – and it was this brilliant NCAA form which helped her progress into senior track and field.

2) She turned pro in 2018

Shania Collins’ professional career began in August 2018, when she signed with Adidas. And it wasn’t long before she made her mark on American pro track and field.

3) She was USA champ in 2019

Just a handful of months after turning pro, Collins won the 60m at the USA Indoor Championships in New York on 22nd February, 2019.

She won by a clear margin, taking the tape in 7.16 seconds ahead of Kate Hall in second with 7.23.

That turned out to be Shania’s best-ever time in the 60m – and what a place to run your personal best!

4) Her PBs are absolutely rapid

Collins has a 100m PB of 10.92 seconds, and a 200m PB of 22.45. She also once ran sub-22 in the 200m – a hallmark of world-class women’s sprinting – but the performance wasn’t legal due to the +5.3m tail wind.

5) She competed for 2 different countries

Shania Collins has competed for both Team USA and for Liberia.

She initially competed for Team USA, winning relay medals at the 2018 North American, Central American and Caribbean (NACAC) Championships, and the 2019 Pan-American Games.

Later, she began representing Liberia, winning silver in the 4x100m relay at the 2023 African Games.
