The first-ever Gymshark Gym is set to open later this year, marking the global fitness giant’s latest significant investment into IRL spaces.
It adds yet another vertical for the brand, which launched online in 2012 and opened its inaugural flagship store on London’s Regent Street a decade later.
Since then, Gymshark has added serious gains to its physical presence with shops in Manchester, New York, Amsterdam, Dubai, and dedicated spaces in two German retailers.
The inaugural Gymshark Lifting Club is headed for Wynwood, Miami, where the brand has a strong history of hosting its high-energy LIFT events.
From South Beach to the world-famous 5th Street Gym, The 305 also boasts one of the most muscled-up communities in America, making it the ideal destination for the brand’s debut public gym.
Gymshark Gym Strengthens Its Position as a True Fitness Brand
Ben Francis, Gymshark’s Founder and CEO, said: “The question I’ve been asked the most over the past 13 years is ‘when is Gymshark going to open a gym’?
“Our community has been crying out for it, and it’s something I’ve always dreamed about, but the timing and location had to be right.
“I’ve visited Miami many times, but even from the very first visit, I knew this would be the only place to open Gymshark’s first gym.

“The fitness culture, the lifting legacy, the insatiable appetite for health meant it could only ever be Wynwood. This will be a gym desired by our community, inspired by our community and, most importantly, for our community.
“We talk a lot about being THE gym brand. I genuinely believe that opening our own gym only strengthens that claim. And, at the end of the day, a lot of people always assumed we owned gyms, purely because of the name.
“Well, now we do and I’m so proud to say that We Do Gyms.”
The inbound Gymshark Gym writes another chapter in the brand’s remarkable journey from a bedroom in Birmingham to a global community of over 20 million lifters.
Further details are expected in the coming weeks as Gymshark prepares to make history in Miami.
