GHOST Clear Whey Gets a Rainbow Makeover for 2025
GHOST is renowned for its epic collabs, and its annual tie-up with Sour Strips has quickly become one of the most anticipated events in the calendar.
Since 2023, Maxx Chewning’s candy brand has lent GHOST its Rainbow flavour to inject a splash of colour across various supplements.
Last year saw GHOST Hydration, Energy, Intra, Legend, and Pump get a super sour twist. This time around, the lifestyle brand has gone a step further with a surprise addition: GHOST Clear Whey.
The initial announcement confirmed the return of Legend pre-workout and Energy in Sour Strips Rainbow, alongside a fresh entrant in GHOST BCAA.
Then, GHOST dropped the welcome curveball: its Clear Whey Protein Isolate would be getting a Rainbow makeover for 2025.
With 25g of protein, just 1g of carbs, and 100 calories per 35g scoop, Rainbow GHOST Clear Whey is undoubtedly the standout of this year’s four-piece collection.
While sweet flavours are common, it’s rare to see candy-inspired varieties enter the otherwise chocolate-dominated protein space.
GHOST Clear Whey only became a permanent part of the line-up in May, offering a refreshing alternative to traditional milky proteins with Blue Raspberry, Strawberry Watermelon, and Orange Cream flavours.
Sour Strips Rainbow temporarily joins that fruity roster, and UK and European fans won’t be missing out.
The limited-edition tubs go live across the US and Europe on Tuesday, 9 September, at 6pm BST on GHOST’s website and app.
Sour Strips editions of Legend, BCAA, and Energy will drop simultaneously. While Legend and BCAA are available across America, Australia, and Europe, Rainbow Energy remains a US-exclusive.
Despite GHOST debuting its cult-favourite energy drink in the UK this summer, the tweaked recipe means it misses out on this occasion.
