GHOST Energy Gives Fans Sneak Peek at Upcoming 7UP Collab

When Keurig Dr Pepper splashed out just shy of $1 billion to acquire a majority stake in GHOST, fans immediately saw the potential for some incredible collaborations.

That takeover led to the unfortunate end of the brand’s partnership with Mondelez International and, in tow, the phasing out of several familiar favourites.

However, the door of opportunity swung open elsewhere. We recently started to see the fruits of Keurig Dr Pepper’s ownership, as GHOST announced a canned protein drink in a nostalgic Yoo-Hoo chocolate flavour.

Now, it’s GHOST Energy’s turn for a classic – and it’s one that brings even more lemon and lime to the range.

Things Are Looking 7UP

The legendary lifestyle brand posted a teaser of Johnny Middlebrooks standing at a retro 7UP vending machine.

As clues go, this is a pretty glaring one. Barring a major curveball, 7UP looks destined to become the latest guest flavour in GHOST Energy’s roster, bringing almost a century of American history with it.

The unmistakable lemon-lime soft drink is owned by Keurig Dr Pepper in the U.S. and PepsiCo internationally, so it might be one only Stateside fans can enjoy.

That’s currently speculation, as exact details on when and where it will be available haven’t been released just yet.

As previously mentioned, 7UP will join several lemon and lime-centric flavours in GHOST’s line of feel-good energy, including Electric Limeade, Cherry Limeade and Sour Pink Lemonade.

While some supporters were hoping for a Dr Pepper launch to mix things up, it’s still great to see a timeless brand enter GHOST’s universe.
