GHOST Energy Original Levels Up with Long-Awaited 16oz Can Release
The wait is over: GHOST Energy’s Original flavor is finally getting the launch fans have been hoping for.
As of next week, the OG will be a permanent fixture in 16oz cans, putting months of anticipation to rest.
Initially introduced as an exclusive offering for events, the fruity, juicy, and bubblegum-noted flavor was later released in 8.4oz multipacks via GHOST’s online store.
Then, the legendary lifestyle brand did something special.
As the official Energy & Hydration Partner for the Vans Warped Tour — which celebrated its 30th anniversary this year — GHOST put its Original flavor in 16oz cans for the first time.
The re-skinned drinks were exclusively available to festival-goers, leaving many fans with a double dose of FOMO.
More recently, GHOST Energy Original was named among the four debut flavors to hit the UK — albeit with a slightly different formulation.
That looked to be a clever piece of foreshadowing from GHOST, which has now announced a limited drop of 16oz 12-packs ahead of a wider retail rollout.
GHOST Energy Original: When’s It Coming?
The 16oz GHOST Energy Original 12-packs will go live on the brand’s app and website on Wednesday, August 13 at 12pm CT.
Given the clamor for this larger offering — and the limited stock — don’t be surprised if they sell out almost instantly.
Fear not, however, because this is a permanent introduction. If you miss the digital drop, GHOST has promised the OG will be in retailers’ fridges starting September.
