Khloé Kardashian Doubles Down on Protein with Khloud Protein Chips

Almost a year on from making its snacking debut, Khloud, the brand founded by Khloé Kardashian, has revealed its latest functional treat.

Khloud Protein Chips were announced today as the first new product launch since its breakout Protein Popcorn.

Much like Kardashian’s cleaned-up take on the classic cinema snack, each bag of Khloud Protein Chips delivers 7g of the muscle-building macronutrient per serving.

That relatively modest sum comes from pea protein, baked directly into the tortilla-style chips rather than dusted on.

But it’s the wider recipe that does most of the heavy lifting. Arriving in three flavours – Nacho, Buffalo and Sweet Heat – Khloud Protein Chips are crafted from wholegrain, non-GMO corn and substitute seed oils for avocado oil.

They’re also gluten-free and made without artificial dyes or flavourings. Each portion contains just 170 calories, marking a notable upgrade from similar high-profile chip brands.

Target is first in line for an exclusive launch, stocking all three flavours from 8 April. Khloud Protein Chips are then scheduled to hit the brand’s online store on 21 April.

“I’ve always been a chip person,” Kardashian explained. “They’re a staple in my house, but so many options were full of ingredients I didn’t feel great about.

“That’s really what pushed me to create Khloud Protein Chips. Just like with Protein Popcorn, I wanted something that tastes really good and feels like a treat but is made with only ingredients you can pronounce.”

Can Anyone Keep Up With the Kardashians?

While not all celebrity ventures end well, the Kardashian effect shouldn’t be underestimated. In under a year, Khloud has opened more than 29,000 retail doors across America and is now stocked at Target, Walmart, Kroger, Albertsons and Amazon.

In the Fall of 2025, 13,600 Starbucks locations added the Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn flavour to their stands.

According to Forbes, the brand performed at nearly twice the buyer’s initial forecast and was considered one of the best-performing food launches in the coffee chain’s history.

Khloud Protein Chips ‘Just the Beginning’

With protein-forward snacks currently growing three times faster than the broader snacking category, the market is rife with competition, but also plenty of consumer appetite.

And by all accounts, Khloud Protein Chips won’t be the last release from the brand as it continues to surpass expectations.

“You’ll definitely see more flavors and more snacks from us,” Kardashian added. “This is just the beginning. I have a running list of ideas I can’t stop thinking about, so we’ll see which ones make their way out first.”
