Oshun Magnesium Launches as a Calming Companion to Pump-Bottle Electrolytes
Feel-good newcomer, Oshun, has launched the follow-up to its unique pump-bottle electrolyte concentrate.
Oshun made waves last year when it stepped onto the booming electrolyte scene with a fresh take on maintaining optimal hydration.
The stripped-back blend and accompanying pump system allow users to add key minerals — including sodium, potassium, chloride, and magnesium — to their water, without calories, sweeteners, flavourings, or additives.
Oshun’s inventive offering earned a glowing review from Insta-influencer Trinny Woodall, which sent sales into overdrive and helped put the pioneer on the map.
With data suggesting up to 75% of the UK’s population live in a state of chronic dehydration, electrolytes have rightly carved out their own category in the supplement space.
Joe Welstead, who founded the brand alongside Jack Atkinson, likened this trend to the protein movement that swept mainstream snacking in 2016.

Oshun Magnesium dropped this week as the bottled answer to restless nights. Each two-pump serving contains 300mg of highly absorbable ionic magnesium and 800mg of chloride sourced naturally from concentrated inland sea water.
Magnesium is known as the calming mineral for its ability to reduce stress-related cortisol levels, aid muscle relaxation, slow nerve activity, and help you sink into a restful night’s shuteye.
Completely unflavoured and present in a bioavailable form, Oshun Magnesium is as pure as natural sleep aids come.
That does, however, mean it’s best pumped into a citrus-flavoured water, juice, or hot drink to mask the naturally bitter taste.
This latest release is very much the Yin to Oshun Electrolytes’ Yang — and that’s by design. Oshun has formulated the two to sit side-by-side: magnesium for dreamy sleep and electrolytes for energised days.
It’s yet another impressive debut from the coastal-inspired newcomer, which continues to put its own stamp on the supplement space.
