Pura Collagen Gets Celeb Backing From Doctor Alex George
UK‑founded supplement brand Pura Collagen has announced that it is partnering with ex-Love Island contestant, celebrity Doctor Alex George.
In a statement released on LinkedIn, the company said working with Alex will enable them to “continue elevating the conversation around collagen, health education, and informed self-care.”
Pura Collagen: Everything You Need to Know
Founded in 2021 by Jennifer Mo and Rob Knowles, Pura Collagen’s goal is to create science‑driven, condition‑specific, high-quality collagen supplements that support skin, joints, immunity, sleep and hormone balance.

The brand’s range includes powders like ‘Glow+’ for skin and hair, ‘Flex+’ for joints, ‘Protect’ for immune support, ‘Sleep’ for restful nights, ‘Balance’ for hormone support, and newer products such as ‘Digest’ and ‘GLPure+’ for gut and metabolic health.
And it would appear that their products are delivering on their goals: customer reviews are generally very impressive, with many consumers reporting benefits such as improved skin texture and reduced joint pain.
Dr Alex George: Helping Pura Collagen Reach the Masses
With almost 3.5 million followers across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, Dr Alex George is seemingly the ideal candidate to support Pura Collagen in their quest to help people understand how bespoke supplementation can support wellness.
Dr George trained in medicine at the University of Exeter and Plymouth, working initially in A&E before gaining fame on Love Island in 2018.
Following the tragic death of his brother, he became a leading mental health advocate, and was appointed UK Youth Mental Health Ambassador in 2021.
He actively promotes mental well-being and demystifies complex health topics via his social media, podcasts, and public speaking engagements.
