Early followers of RAW Nutrition may remember the brand’s Whole Food Bar.
Made from just seven clean ingredients – including dates, honey, peanuts, and egg whites – it promised a more honest take on functional snacking.
However, as wholesome as it was, the flavor and density didn’t quite hit the spot. Inevitably, it soon disappeared from digital shelves.
Now, RAW Protein Bars are back and, learning from past mistakes, they’re taking things in a completely new direction.
RAW’s fresh swing plays in a similar space to the likes of Barebells and Grenade, promising candy bar-level flavor without the accompanying junk.
“Our goal was simple,” said Dom Iacovone, Co-Founder and CEO of RAW Nutrition.
“Make a protein bar that people would actually choose, not just over other protein bars, but over candy bars.

“Not because they ‘should,’ but because it actually tastes better. We obsessed over flavor first, then built the macros to match. The result is something you’ll get addicted to but feel good about eating.”
RAW Protein Bars: The Stats
The all-new RAW Protein Bars float between 18-21g of protein and just 1-5g of added sugar across four indulgent flavors: Peanut Butter Fudge, Double Fudge Brownie, Salted Caramel Pretzel, and Dark Chocolate Cookie Butter.
RAW says it wants to eliminate the tradeoff between bars that taste great and those which push consumers closer to achieving their goals.
At 60g and 230 calories apiece, they meet the brief by delivering up to five times the protein of a standard candy bar — with up to 96% less added sugar.
There’s no doubt about it: RAW Protein Bars are entering a crowded market. Barebells currently holds the throne as America’s favorite, Grenade is ramping up its Stateside expansion, and GHOST recently made its debut in the snacking world.
But with Iacovone, six-time Classic Physique Mr. Olympia Champion Chris Bumstead, and renowned bodybuilding coach Matt Jansen at the helm, you wouldn’t bet against RAW making a serious impact.
RAW Protein Bars are already available in 4-packs (SRP: $11.49) and 12-packs (SRP: $34.99). Visit RAW’s website for more information.
