We’re willing to bet that a three-way jacket potato collaboration between Spudman, Gymshark, and Grime Gran wasn’t on your 2026 bingo card.
But that was the scene which greeted athletes at last weekend’s HYROX London event. And no, we promise, this isn’t an April Fools’ Day joke.
Spudman Serves Post-Race Jacket Potatoes
Spudman, who boasts 4.2 million followers on TikTok alone, headed to London’s Olympia venue to feed hungry punters their post-workout carbs in the form of the ultimate in British comfort food: jacket spuds.

Served in branded Gymshark boxes and with suitably fitness-inspired names (Tuna May-row-naise, anyone?), the meals were dished out by the Tamworth-based creator and Grime Gran; the latter of whom is perhaps most well-known for grilling Kim Kardashian about her favourite potato toppings.
And, of course, they were served alongside every Hyrox athlete’s favourite merch: a velcro event badge.
Serving Spuds After Some Incredible Results
There were certainly plenty of athletes who earned their post-workout spud this weekend, with some impressive results across the board.
In the Men’s Open category, Fabian Eisenlauer (Germany) stormed to a three-minute victory, coming home in 53:56 ahead of the UK’s Jack Waymark.
Over in the Hyrox mixed doubles, Luke Greer and his partner, former GB track and field star and European indoor medallist Holly Archer, won by almost 90 seconds.
