The Barebells Vegan Protein Bar Returns to the UK in Two Flavours
Swedish giant Barebells has relaunched its vegan protein bar in the UK following a long hiatus.
Promising ‘love at first bite’, two flavours landed on 11 February — just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Packed with 15g of wheat and soy protein, two classic sweet-treat combinations — Fudge Brownie and Caramel Peanut — lead the revival.
Each bar comes in at just over 200 calories, with around 22g of carbs and just shy of 3g of fibre.
The Barebells vegan protein bar was previously available in the UK before being temporarily pulled from shelves.
It remained a staple on the continent, with countries such as Sweden and Germany boasting a wide selection of flavours.
Whatever the reason for its disappearance, the Barebells vegan protein bar is now back and promises to taste so good that even plant-based sceptics will love it.
A chocolatey hit with no added sugar
Both bars pledge a satisfyingly sweet flavour — but with no added sugar.
Barebells says the Fudge Brownie option is rich and cakey, with the familiar gooey, indulgent texture we all love.

Chocolate pieces are mixed throughout for extra bite, and it’s all coated in silky vegan chocolate.
The Caramel Peanut option sounds just as moreish. It features layers of sweet caramel and crunchy, savoury peanuts, all wrapped up in a rich cocoa and vegan chocolate blanket.
The brand has also promised that these bars don’t taste like vegan chocolate at all.
Where can I buy them?
Whether you’re a brownie lover or a sucker for a nutty snack, you can now buy the Barebells vegan protein bar from the brand’s online store. A box of 12 costs £23.99, and if you buy three or more cases, you’ll receive free delivery.
