Cherry on Top: Vieve Protein Water’s Wild Cherry Joins Ocado, Bringing Total Flavours to Four
Vieve Protein Water’s popular Wild Cherry variety has secured space on Ocado’s digital shelves, bringing the total number of flavours available to shoppers to four.
The world’s largest dedicated online-only supermarket noted cherry as one of the year’s “big trending flavours” in its 2025 report.
Searches for the stone fruit rose 20% year-on-year on Ocado.com, and July signalled a full-blown cherry frenzy.
For two weeks, cherries became the number one bestselling product on the platform. Consumers hoovered up a whopping 68,500 punnets in just seven days during the bumper period.
Protein beverages experienced a similar boom last year. According to Innova Market Insights, 42% of consumers said the muscle-building macronutrient was the most important ingredient for them.
Vieve Protein Water launched its Wild Cherry flavour around 18 months ago, sitting at the intersection of those two viral moments.
Unsurprisingly, the brand said it quickly became the top-performing SKU. Now, it’s primed to take Ocado baskets by storm.
“When we finally showed it to Ocado… they got it immediately,” wrote Vieve Protein Water founder Rafael Rozenson.
“I’m genuinely excited that Cherry is live on Ocado, taking us to four Vieve flavours available in your weekly Ocado shop.”
Watermelon, Strawberry & Rhubarb, and Orange & Mango are the other Vieve Protein Water varieties stocked by Ocado.
Rozenson said business between the two grew 25% last year, and plans are in place to drive that figure further northwards in 2026, including an on-site activation and first-ever joint business plan.
“It’s a huge focus account for us,” he concluded.
Vieve Protein Water packs 20g of hydrolysed collagen protein into ready-to-drink 500ml bottles, free from fat and sugar, and totalling just 90 calories.
All four flavours are retailing at £2.30 per bottle on Ocado’s website. Alternatively, you can pick up multipacks direct from Vieve’s online store.
