Yubi Bar Line-Up Expands With Viral-Inspired Dark Choc Matcha

If you love the on-the-go convenience of a protein bar but don’t have a super-sweet tooth, then the new Dark Choc Matcha flavour from Yubi Bar will be right up your street.

Inspired by two of 2025’s most trending flavours, this latest offering joins Yubi Bar’s already extensive range of low-calorie, vegan-friendly, gluten-free protein snacks.

Chewy matcha wrapped in dark choc

Described by Yubi Bar as “smooth and aromatic”, these trending bites combine the richness of dark chocolate with the slightly earthy flavour of Japanese matcha to create a quick pick-me-up without the sickliness.

The bulk of the bar is a “chewy matcha mass,” which is then topped with gooey caramel and covered with dark chocolate.

What are the stats?

These bars pack some impressive stats. Each 35g serving dishes up 10g of protein (from pea and soy isolates) and 2.5g of fibre, all for just 99 calories. And there’s only 0.5g of sugar in there, too.

How much do they cost?

You can pick up a box of 12 Dark Choc Matcha bars for £14.99, so they come out at around £1.25 per bar.

Or, you can create your own pick ‘n’ mix box and combine this slightly more savoury option with some of Yubi Bar’s sweeter picks, like Honeycomb, Caramel, or Black Forest Gateau – that way, you’ve got a flavour choice for every mood.

But be quick: Yubi Bar has promised this flavour won’t be around for long.
